Sponsored content
- Sponsored articles are labeled "Sponsored" at the top of the article and on every listing where they appear. The label does not disappear.
- The sponsor is named, and a disclosure statement explains the arrangement.
- Sponsored articles use a visually distinct treatment. They are not designed to blend into independent editorial.
- Sponsors do not review, approve, or influence our independent coverage, including coverage of their own products.
Affiliate links
If an article contains affiliate links, it says so in a disclosure on the article, and those links are marked rel="sponsored" so search engines treat them as paid. As of launch, Gaming Trend Wire has no affiliate relationships; this policy takes effect if that changes.
The gambling desk: a hard block, not a policy
Sponsored posts, affiliate links, referral codes and bonus-offer content are disabled outright for our gambling coverage. This is enforced by the publishing system, which refuses to publish, not by a guideline someone can waive. No gambling ad units run anywhere on the site, including programmatic.
Web3 coverage
Every web3 article publicly answers whether the publisher, the author or any related business holds a position in the project covered, and whether any client relationship exists. Outbound links to token sales, mints, exchanges and project sites carry rel="nofollow sponsored". We do not publish price predictions.
What we never do
- Publish paid content without labeling it.
- Accept payment for favorable independent coverage or for withholding critical coverage.
- Sell links or "guaranteed" search placement.
- Carry betting offers, bonus codes or gambling affiliate links, anywhere.
