A Pro-series refresh, led by haptics
At its G Play 2026 showcase, Logitech G unveiled a refreshed PRO lineup, with coverage landing between 23 and 25 September 2026 (CGMagazine, PC Guide). The headline product is the PRO X3 Superstrike mouse, built around what Logitech calls its Haptic Inductive Trigger System, or HITS. The idea is a click driven by haptics rather than a traditional mechanical switch, which Logitech pitches as a way to cut the delay between a physical press and the action registering (CGMagazine; PC Guide).
That is the pattern across this launch. Almost every product is sold on latency, polling and tuning headroom rather than a redesign, which puts it squarely at competitive players who care about small input gains.
The PRO X3 Superstrike mouse
CGMagazine lists the Superstrike at 59g with up to 135 hours of battery, a HERO 2 sensor rated to 48,000 DPI, 930 IPS and 90G of acceleration, LIGHTSPEED wireless and an 8kHz report rate on a wired connection, all fed by a custom NxLOGI chipset. It offers ten actuation levels and several click-haptic intensity settings, in Midnight Black and Magenta Eclipse, priced at $199.99, or €189.99 (CGMagazine).
The shape carries over from the previous Pro model, so the pitch here is the haptic click, the lighter weight and the longer battery rather than a new grip.
Keyboard, headset and pad
The PRO X2 Rapid keyboard moves to POM magnetic Hall-effect switches, factory lubricated, with adjustable actuation from 0.05mm to 4mm, an onboard OLED, Rapid Trigger and SOCD key priority, up to 8kHz polling and doubleshot PBT keycaps. CGMagazine lists it at $299.99, or €249.99.
The PRO X3 LIGHTSPEED headset pairs 50mm PRO-G graphene drivers with a 48kHz microphone, a 10-band EQ in G HUB and up to 70 hours of battery over LIGHTSPEED wireless or Bluetooth, at $249.99, or €279.99. Rounding out the launch is the PRO X Control mousepad, a 400 by 460mm knitted-cloth surface on 6mm SlimFlex foam, at $59.99 (CGMagazine).
The showcase reached beyond the desk, too. PC Guide reported that G Play 2026 also covered sim racing hardware and streaming gear alongside the core mouse, keyboard and headset, so the refresh spans most of Logitech's gaming range rather than a single category.
Availability
On timing, the picture is looser. CGMagazine reports the lineup is launching throughout the year, and neither it nor PC Guide gave firm per-product on-sale dates at the time of writing. We will confirm dates and any regional pricing against Logitech's own listings before treating them as settled.
Our take
The through-line is competitive-tier latency: HITS on the mouse, magnetic switches and Rapid Trigger on the keyboard, and an 8kHz path on both. Prices sit at the top of Logitech's range, so this is aimed at players chasing marginal input gains rather than value buyers. As always with launch specs, the haptic click, the battery numbers and the 8kHz claims are worth checking against independent testing once units are in reviewers' hands. What is clear now is the positioning: Logitech is defending the high end of PC peripherals with a feature list built for esports.
