Games leaving PS Plus November 2026: the full list

The games leaving PS Plus November 2026 are led by GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. Eleven games are leaving PS Plus Extra on November 17, 2026, according to Push Square, which compiled the list from the service's "Last Chance to Play" section. Per that list, the departures are Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4), Football Manager 26 (PS5), Grand Theft Auto V (PS5 and PS4), The Talos Principle 2 (PS5), Cricket 24 (PS5 and PS4), Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom (PS5 and PS4), Hotshot Racing (PS4), Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break (PS4), Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair (PS4), Rapala Fishing Pro Series (PS4) and Yet Another Zombie Defense HD (PS4).

PlayStation LifeStyle's list from October 19 runs to 12 games. It adds Thank Goodness You're Here and marks six titles as available "in select regions". That count was drawn from Japanese and Asian PS Stores, and the outlet says other regions are expected to match when their stores update, with "slight variations" possible. If your own console shows a different number, trust the Last Chance to Play row on your account. The difference is small but matters if you are mid-way through a regional title such as Thank Goodness You're Here, which only some stores list as leaving.

GTA 5 leaves PS Plus two days before GTA 6 launches

GTA 5 was the first departure confirmed. PlayStation LifeStyle reported on October 13 that Sony notified PS Plus members through a console notice, and that the notice nudged players counting down to GTA 6 to try GTA 5 in the meantime, with the game available "but only until November 17". The notice reached Extra and Premium members.

The timing is hard to miss. Rockstar's own page lists Grand Theft Auto VI as "Coming November 19, 2026" on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, which is two days after GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 disappear from the catalog. Sony has not said the dates are related, and we have not seen a statement linking them. Catalog rotations are scheduled well ahead, so treat the overlap as coincidence you can plan around, not a strategy Sony has confirmed.

“The following 11 PS5, PS4 games are leaving PS Plus Extra on 17th November 2026:”

Push Square, October 20, 2026

What you lose when a PS Plus Extra game leaves

Push Square points out the key difference with PS Plus Extra: unlike PS Plus Essential, where the monthly games stay claimed for as long as you remain a member, Extra "revokes access once the titles depart". When the games leave on November 17, you can no longer launch them through the subscription, and anyone who wants to keep playing has to buy them.

Saves are a separate issue, and one we have not verified for each title. If you intend to buy a game afterwards, check on your console whether your progress syncs to PlayStation's cloud storage before the departure date. If you do not plan to buy, finish what you care about before the 17th. That includes the story games on the list, such as The Talos Principle 2, which Push Square calls a "brilliant philosophical puzzle sequel with new and improved mechanics" in the review it links.

Which departures matter most

Push Square calls Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 5 "the two obvious standouts", and the sheer size of both explains why. They are among the largest open-world games on the service, and both are long enough that a player who started either one in October may not finish before the 17th. Note that Push Square lists Red Dead Redemption 2 as a PS4 title and GTA 5 on both PS5 and PS4, so check which version your Extra tier gives you.

The rest of the list is smaller but varied: a football management sim, a cricket game, a puzzle sequel, a platformer, a retro-style racer and a fishing title. If you are choosing what to play first with limited time, Football Manager 26 and The Talos Principle 2 are the PS5 native entries in the list, per Push Square. We have not played any of them for this piece and do not rate them.

What is still unknown about PS Plus in November 2026

This list covers departures from the Extra and Premium catalog only. It does not tell you what is arriving. The monthly PS Plus Essential games and the new Extra and Premium additions are announced separately, and as of the sources we reviewed we had not seen an official November announcement, so treat any lineup circulating online as speculation. Sony has historically used the PlayStation Blog for these posts, but we have not confirmed a date for the November one.

Two practical caveats apply. First, Push Square and PlayStation LifeStyle both note the Last Chance to Play list can change during the month, so check again nearer the date. Second, region matters: some titles are flagged "select regions" and the lists we reviewed come from different stores. We will update this article if Sony posts an official list on the PlayStation Blog.

Is PS Plus Extra worth it if the big games keep leaving

The honest answer depends on how you play. Catalog services are rentals: games rotate out, and a subscriber who only plays two or three big titles a year can pay more than they would have to buy the game outright. A November that removes two of the most played games of the last decade is a good moment to check how many hours you really get out of the tier.

The counter-argument is breadth. Extra gives access to a rotating library you would not otherwise buy, and for a household with several players the monthly cost can still beat individual purchases. We have not tested value across the catalog, so this piece does not give a verdict, only the facts you need to decide before November 17.

Frequently asked

What are the games leaving PS Plus November 2026?

Push Square lists 11 games leaving PS Plus Extra on November 17, 2026: Red Dead Redemption 2, Football Manager 26, GTA 5, The Talos Principle 2, Cricket 24, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Hotshot Racing, Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break, Earth Defense Force 4.1, Rapala Fishing Pro Series and Yet Another Zombie Defense HD. When does GTA 5 leave PS Plus?

GTA 5 leaves the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog on November 17, 2026. PlayStation LifeStyle reported on October 13 that Sony told members through a console notice that the game is available but only until that date. GTA 6 launches two days later, on November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, according to Rockstar's own page.

Is Red Dead Redemption 2 leaving PS Plus?

Yes. Push Square lists Red Dead Redemption 2 as a PS4 game leaving PS Plus Extra on November 17, 2026, alongside GTA 5 and nine other titles. PlayStation LifeStyle's list also includes it as Red Dead Redemption II. After that date you cannot launch it through the subscription and would have to buy it to keep playing.

Do I keep PS Plus Extra games after they leave?

No. Push Square notes that, unlike PS Plus Essential monthly games, PS Plus Extra titles "revoke access once the titles depart". After November 17 you cannot play the 11 listed games through the subscription. If you buy one afterwards, you will need to check whether your saves carry over, which we have not verified for each title.

Why do the PS Plus November 2026 lists show different numbers?

Push Square counts 11 games leaving PS Plus Extra, while PlayStation LifeStyle counts 12 because it adds Thank Goodness You're Here and notes six titles are marked as select regions. PlayStation LifeStyle drew its list from Japanese and Asian PS Stores and says other regions may show slight variations. Check the Last Chance to Play row on your console, because it is the list that applies to your account and store.

When are the PS Plus November 2026 monthly games announced?

We have not seen an official announcement. The departure lists above cover games leaving Extra and Premium, not new additions. Sony announces the monthly Essential games and new catalog titles separately on the PlayStation Blog, so lineups circulating before that are speculation. We will update this article if Sony posts an official November lineup. Until then, only the departures are known, and even those are subject to the Last Chance to Play row changing.
